Background :

Dice is born, a healthy and happy cheetah. However, she was born into captivity. Soon enough, she was sold to some owners, they treated her like shit. They would stuff her in a cage  where she could barely even move her tail, keep her in it for about 18 hours in a day, and hang it from the ceiling. Thas wasn't it, though. They would  let big dogs snap at her as she was hung from the ceiling. (because of her barely being fed,  and being in that cage, her growth is stunted.) but, one day, a rich man came into the market, where the bad owners took her in their spare time and let the dogs chase her. he saw her, running, small and helpless. he walked over to the big, dirty and slightly drunk men.

“How much for the cheetah?” he asked

“That thing? Take it for all we care?” answered one of the men, slurring his words.

The rich man did not want these people finding out he just took this cat, so he offered $100 dollars for it. Of course, the men accepted. They called over the dogs, and the cat fell to the ground, panting. The man walked over and picked up the small cheetah, who was barely even bigger than his forearm. He stroked her gently, whispering words of kindness to her.

“Its okay now. Its okay.” said the man to the scared, dirty, hungry and panting cheetah.

He arrived home to a beautiful house. Dice couldn't even believe she had seen this place, let alone set foot in it. The gentle man went into the kitchen and got some food and water. Dice had never eaten anything but leftovers, sometimes of things she shouldn't even eat. But now, she had a whole entire piece of meat to herself. She looked up at the man in disbelief, and he just stroked her head and told her it was okay to eat it. She began to eat, and soon had a full tummy. Something she had never experienced.

After eating and drinking, the gentle man led her to a warm and inviting blanket bundled up on the floor. All dice ever had was some dry grass. She began to purr and rub against the man, who smiled and laid her down in the bed.

It had been a month now, and Dice had grown quite a bit, but still stunted and she was about two thirds the size of a normal cheetah. Dice was still quite new to this environment, but she was happy to be in it.

One day, the man, who she now trusted and loved very deeply, came with something in his hands. He strapped it onto Dice and told her it was some armor.

“It makes you look cool.” he said, but not in the fun joking way he usually does. Dice could sense something was wrong.

They went to the market, like they always do… but something was different this time. Her human looked sad and he didn't have any money with him.

She began to get worried when he got behind one of the empty stands, with some apples and he had Dice sit on the table.

Some people came up and bought apples, until somebody wanted to buy Dice.

“How much for the runt? She'll be good food for my dogs.” said the scary, bad smelling, and rather large man.

Her human looked at her for a second, hesitated, and then said “Not for sale.”

The scary man walked away.

He took Dice off of the counter. Now she really knew something was wrong.

“Sweetheart,” began the man “ I am out of money. I can’t keep you. I need you to run, run for the hills. Dont let anyone or anything catch you. Please.” said her human, a tear in his eye.

Dice looked at him, and knew she had to go into the nearby wilderness. She had never hunted before.. she better learn fast. She nuzzled her human one last time, licked his face, and ran. She ran at top speed, stopping  only when absolutely necessary. She soon grew tired, and hungry.

For the first few days, she only hunted birds.

Then she attempted a few separated baby antelope. She did take down a few. Soon enough, she was hunting full grown antelope . She ate well, She was fast, and she cared for her armor very well.

One day, she stumbled upon a group of cats, they took her in and gave her a job as a Falcon because of her speed and skill.

Roleplay Example (Please be at least 200 words in length.)

Koli sat on the cool cave floor, next to marie, who was dieing.

“Koli,” she said in a soft voice.

“Can you sing that song that we heard the one time? You know, the one about the sun? One last time?”

Koli wiped the tears from his pure white eyes and cleared his throat.

“Yes, Marie. anything.”

Koli tried to remember to the song, and it came to his mind quickly.

“ You are my sunshine,” he began in a shaky voice

My only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are gray” he continued.

A smile grew across maries face, a faint one.

“You’ll never know dear, how much I love you.”

Maries eyes closed, and she was gone.

“Please don’t take my sunshine…” he began to sob.

“Away” he said in a broken voice.

He buried Marie under a tree, where he carved ‘my sunshine’ into the bark.

He sat over her grave for the next few weeks, barely eating or sleeping. He still sung the song to her, on repeat.  Until he finally stopped, about two weeks after her death. He went over to a cliff and thought about jumping. He leaped, but spread his leathery wings before he could splat against the ground. So he went back to her grave, told her he loved her, and took off into the cool fall air. He didn't care where he was going, really. He just wanted to leave Marie. It was too much guilt.
